Tribar, based in the lively and legendary Rue du Lappe in the heart of the Bastille, is a mix between a cool and contemporary French restaurant, bar and cabaret venue. Boasting two air conditioned levels, the restaurant is found on the first floor and is an unusual setting with tables set in long rows, very close to each other. The tables run from one end of the room to the other on both sides making it an ideal place for an evening out with friends, certainly not an intimate meal for two. The dark red walls and coloured neon lights give the place a funky and clubby feel. When it comes to the food, expect traditional home cooked French food such as beef with pepper sauce, grilled cod and foie gras. Check out the club downstairs with its fabulous cocktail bar and resident DJ’s pumping out house and R&B at the weekends. Tribar is great for a girls or boys night out where the dinner and show (Chippendales or striptease) makes for an unforgettable evening.
