Historic Paris fish restaurant Maison Prunier Caviar House has been carfully restored to its former glory and is now one of Paris' leading seafood restaurants

Situated on the prestigeous Avenue Victor Hugo in Paris, Maison Prunier is an example of the purest Art Deco style, with a sparkling blue-green mosaic exterior, luxurious interior walls of onyx and black marble encrusted with bits of glittering gold, an elegant scalloped white marble oyster bar, as well as Cubist-inspired bronze plaques suspended from the ceiling, guiding diners to various areas on the main floor -- the oyster bar, a section for prepared fish items, a display of fresh shellfish, and an informal dining area. Upstairs, white embossed table linens create a more formal, exclusive dining atmosphere. Maison Prunier Restaurant & Caviar House offers a highly-skilled seafood-focused menu featuring creations like king crab ravioli with tarragon, beautiful Breton sole Belle Meuniere, as well as truffle risotto and several types of Prunier caviar either chilled or simply prepared. Many of the familiar dishes created by the founder Emile Prunier, back in 1924, still survive, including a classic grilled turbot with an exquisite hollandaise sauce, and no less than nine types of oysters, Breton sea urchins, clams and crab, smoked salmon and of course, even more caviar!! Wines and service at Maison Prunier are exemplary so our best advice would be to indulge in a terrific glass of wine, enjoy some top-notch seafood and relax in the comfort & splendour of one Paris' finest dining establishments.

Maison Prunier was all that we wanted in an evening. The oysters were superb and there is a good choice on the menu. Definately would go back again even if it was for the oysters and lovely glass of sancerre
