The restaurant is run by owner Alain Fontaine and his head chef Pascal Brot, who together with a talented team, have created an exceptional place to go and have a great lunch and dinner. Using only the best seasonal produce their winter menu for example includes superb paté, foie gras, wild boar, rabbit, lamb with white beans, veal and of course, coq au vin. The wine list at Le Mesturet is first rate, with some very reasonable choices and the service is friendly and attentive. A lovely restaurant for both lunch & dinner, Le Mesturet understandably something of a hit with both locals & visitors.
