In the heart of the 17th arrondissement of Paris along the rue des Batignolles, Le Club des Cinq is a super retro style restaurant serving international style French food. Owned by five friends, hence the name, Le Club des Cinq is a funky and cool eatery with a real sense of humour. It seems to reflect the characters of its five owners and takes diners back to the 1980’s with its retro décor featuring childhood toys from that era such as gremlins and turntables. The room is divided into several sections by simple white walls and bright red seating and low lung lamps set a contemporary scene. The menu is full of retro style French cooking too with the enormous cheeseburger with cheddar, salad and homemade chips being the signature dish. Other highlights include the beef carpaccio with rocket, lentils, parmesan, pesto and white truffle oil. Pop in for lunch during the week and enjoy three courses at just 16.95 Euros. Le Club des Cinq is a great addition to the dining scene of the 17th and really does add a bit of fun to the occasion.
