La Frégate is a chic French restaurant situated in historic surroundings in the 7th arrondissement of Paris along the famous left bank. This traditional bistro style restaurant is built on the site of the house of Marshal d’Artagnan, the character who inspired The Three Muskateers, and was named after the frigate that docked under Le Pont Royal in the 1870’s. The dining room is a stylish space with white linen topped tables and large windows permitting plenty of light to flood through. Close to the Musée d’Orsay and the Jardins des Tuileries, La Frégate is the perfect place to enjoy a typical Parisian lunch or evening meal. The menu offers some truly classic French dishes where you could be starting with a plate of frog’s legs with garlic and parsley or a dish of snails. There is a separate oyster menu with plenty to choose from. As for mains, highlights include the sole meuniere and the steak au poivre flambéed with Cognac. Dine in historic surroundings at the excellent La Frégate restaurant.
